Stabile Bank was a small community bank founded in 1885. It closed in 1932 in a merger with another bank. The building was owned by members of the Stabile family until recently when the Italian American Museum was looking for space. The museum opened September 2008.

The museum exhibits centers around Stabile bank with its intact bank furnishings from the 19th century.
